What you'll learn
- Open your Account page
- Press Disconnect
- Check the platform's connected apps
- Delete your data if you want
- Review other apps while you're there
How it works
You can remove access at any time, from Who Block Me and from the platform itself. Doing both makes sure nothing is left behind.
The video shows one creator's approach. Where it suggests a sign "confirms" a block, read the limitations below — most signs have other explanations.
Before you start
- A Who Block Me account (only if you connected something)
Step by step
Open your Account page
Sign in and go to Account. Each platform you connected is listed with its status.
Press Disconnect
This stops Who Block Me from using that connection and deletes the stored sign-in keys.
Check the platform's connected apps
In the platform's settings, look for "Apps and websites", "Connected apps" or "Security" and remove Who Block Me if it is listed.
Delete your data if you want
Use "Delete account" on the Account page to remove your Who Block Me account and everything stored with it.
Review other apps while you're there
Remove any app you no longer recognise or use, especially ones that asked for your password.
Important
- Apps that asked for your password instead of the official sign-in page should be removed, and you should change that password.
Common mistakes and troubleshooting
- Who Block Me isn't in the platform's app list
- That platform was probably never connected — no live connections are active yet.
What this does not prove
- The video shows Instagram's connected-apps screen as an example; menu names differ on other platforms.
Frequently asked questions
Does disconnecting delete my checker results?
Checker results are never stored, so there is nothing to delete.
