What you'll learn
- Choose the platform
- Review the requested permissions
- Continue to the official page
- Sign in directly with the platform
- Approve or decline
- Return to Who Block Me
- Review available features
- Disconnect when you want
How it works
Connecting an account means the platform itself asks you to approve limited, read-only access. You never type your social media password into Who Block Me.
The video shows one creator's approach. Where it suggests a sign "confirms" a block, read the limitations below — most signs have other explanations.
Before you start
- A free Who Block Me account
- An account on the platform you want to connect
Step by step
Choose the platform
Open your Account page and find the platform. Each card shows whether connecting is currently possible.
Review the requested permissions
Before you continue we list what will be requested, why, and which features are still unavailable.
Continue to the official page
You are sent to the platform's own website. Check the address bar shows the real platform domain.
Sign in directly with the platform
Enter your password only on the platform's page. Who Block Me never sees it.
Approve or decline
Read the permission screen. You can cancel at any time and nothing will be connected.
Return to Who Block Me
You come back to your Account page, which shows the connection only after it is actually verified.
Review available features
Each capability is marked available, needs approval, or unsupported. Blocking lookups are unavailable on every platform today.
Disconnect when you want
Use Disconnect on your Account page. You can also remove access in the platform's own settings.
Important
- Never send anyone your password, login codes, session cookies or access tokens — including us. We will never ask.
Common mistakes and troubleshooting
- The connect button is unavailable
- That platform's connection is not set up or needs developer approval. Use the guided checker instead.
- I cancelled by mistake
- Nothing was connected. Start again from your Account page.
What this does not prove
- Connecting an account does not reveal who blocked you. No supported platform offers that through an official API.
Frequently asked questions
Is connecting required?
No. The guided checkers work without an account or any connection.
